Local Roads - Online Reporting

We are often asked about issues on the local roads around Epping and just wanted to publicise the Essex County Council (ECC) incident reporting online site – ‘Tell us’.

Essex County Council is responsible for 

• Road, pavement issues

• Flooding, drainage issues

• Roadworks, utility works issues

• Other associated highways issues

There is also a list of matters that do not fall under their remit. 

Recently for example, we have been informed of such items as the lack of a no entry sign on a one-way street (Hemnall Street) and severe traffic delays due to road works (High Street). 

These items can be logged on the website for ECC to resolve.
