Help us create a guide to Epping

The Epping Society is creating a new guide for people who are new to Epping, or simply want to get to know the town better.

Rather than producing a traditional directory of local businesses and services, we want this guide to capture the local knowledge, recommendations and experiences that make Epping such a special place to live.

That's where you can help.

Share Your Local Knowledge

We're asking local people to contribute their favourite places, hidden gems and insider tips; the kinds of recommendations that don't always show up in an online search.

Whether you've lived in Epping for two years or fifty, we'd love to hear what you'd include in a guide for someone discovering the town for the first time.

We'd love to hear about:

• Walks, trails and green spaces you'd recommend

• Community groups, clubs and organisations that make a difference

• Great places for families and children

• Local events and traditions that newcomers shouldn't miss

• Dog-friendly walks, venues and services

• Favourite places to explore within 15 minutes of Epping

• Quirky facts or stories about Epping

• Anything else that helps make Epping a great place to live

 A Guide Shaped by Local People

Our aim is to create a guide that reflects the experiences and perspectives of the people who know Epping best: its residents.

We hope the finished guide will help newcomers feel more connected to the town, discover new places and activities, and make the most of everything Epping has to offer.
