Epping Society Supports Epping Forest Heritage Trust Appeal

Epping Forest Heritage Trust: ‘A Thriving Forest for People and Nature’ Double Match Fund Appeal (2-9^th Dec)

Our friends at Epping Forest Heritage Trust (EFHT) are running ‘A Thriving Forest for People and Nature’ as their Big Give Christmas Challenge between 2nd to 9th December, raising funds to ensure more people can come together to love and care for the Forest, helping to conserve it so both people and the Forest can thrive now and for generations to come.

Collaborations between The Epping Society and EFHT (then known as the Friends of Epping Forest) went back in the 1970s when local people came together to campaign against M16/M25. Most recently The Epping Society also became the first Community Partner of Epping Forest Heritage Trust.

Thanks to the match funding from Haslers Foundation, Yoti, Alfa Systems, and The Monday Charitable Trust, as well as individual supporters, for one week only between 2nd to 9th December,  all donations made to their campaign, up to £4,600, will be DOUBLED, doubling the impact you can make.

Epping Forest is owned and managed by the City of London Corporation. Epping Forest Heritage Trust is a local charity and membership organisation to help protect and preserve Epping Forest and its irreplaceable biodiversity, culture, and heritage now and for generations to come.
