Epping Society Article in Today's Epping Forest Guardian (26th March, 2026)

Some members might know that the Society contributes a column to The Epping Forest Guardian roughly every six weeks, providing updates and insights into our ongoing activities and initiatives. This regular column serves as an important communication channel, allowing us to keep the community informed about our efforts and to engage with our members and the public at large.

The column in this week's edition covered our Annual General Meeting (AGM), which took place on 12th March. This significant event was not only a time for reflection on our past achievements but also an opportunity to outline our goals for the upcoming year.
We were honored to have our local Member of Parliament, Dr. Neil Hudson MP, as the guest speaker for this occasion. Dr. Hudson shared his insights on various pressing issues affecting our community and emphasized the importance of local engagement in shaping policies that impact our lives.
His presence added a layer of significance to the meeting, as he addressed many of the issues we all face and was very generous with his time taking questions from the floor and chatting with mambers afterwards.
